Correct wheel alignment and suspension geometry are critical to steering feel, stability, braking performance and tyre life. Geometry can be easily disturbed by potholes, road impacts and daily driving, or by kerb strikes and high loads during circuit use. We recommend a professional four-wheel alignment at least annually, and always when tyres or suspension components are replaced.

How it is done

Our motorsport-proven approach

Our suspension geometry work is not based on theory or generic settings; it is shaped by real-world motorsport success. We have developed, refined and validated chassis setups on winning race cars, where consistency, predictability and tyre performance are critical. This lets us translate race-proven geometry principles into road and track setups that genuinely improve driver confidence and vehicle performance.

Unlike alignment-only services, our approach considers the entire chassis system: suspension movement, compliance, load transfer and driver input. Whether setting up a centre-lock GT race car or a five-stud fast-road supercar, every adjustment is made with intent, understanding and measurable purpose.

Wheel alignment, geometry adjustment and inspection

Depending on the adjustment your vehicle allows, a four-wheel alignment includes precise control of camber, caster and toe angles. These can be set to factory specification, our own SBR fast-road geometry, track-focused setups, amateur or pro-level race configurations, or a fully bespoke alignment.

A critical part of the process is a detailed inspection of suspension, steering and bushing components. Excessive play or wear can cause geometry to shift under braking, cornering or over bumps, undermining the setup. Ensuring the platform is mechanically sound allows the geometry to remain stable and deliver consistent performance.

Ride height, suspension geometry and handling balance

Ride height is far more than a cosmetic consideration. It directly influences suspension arm geometry, damper operation, spring preload and the usable range of suspension travel. Incorrect ride height can compromise grip, stability and feedback even if alignment settings appear correct.

While some supercars offer limited or no ride height adjustment as standard, coilover systems from manufacturers such as Nitron allow precise control over ride height and corner balance. Changes to static ride height and rake have a significant effect on handling balance, turn-in and traction. We have a wide range of proven fast-road and track setups and extensive experience developing race-focused ride height configurations.

Corner weighting and driver-optimised setup

For the ultimate chassis setup, geometry and ride height adjustments are combined with corner weighting. This balances the vehicle front to rear and side to side by measuring the load each wheel applies to calibrated scales.

The driver's weight is added to the vehicle during this process and ride heights are adjusted to achieve the best balance with the driver in place. This can result in small side-to-side ride height differences but ensures optimum grip, stability and predictability in all cornering scenarios.

Advanced systems and modern supercars

Modern supercars introduce additional complexity. Systems such as rear-wheel steering must often be electronically locked during alignment to ensure accurate readings. Our factory-level diagnostic equipment lets us manage these systems correctly during setup, ensuring precise and repeatable results.
