These lightweight test pipes replace the heavy OEM catalytic converters. By eliminating the flow restriction of catalytic converters, they increase horsepower.
This version includes custom hand-sewn heat blankets to reduce under-hood temperatures, protecting the surrounding body, hoses, and painted surfaces from residual heat damage.
Removing the silencing effect of the converters enhances the aggressive engine sound. Test pipes are ideal for track days and racing applications.
On applicable models, the centre section is designed to be flexible to prevent vibration damage to the header pipes, and Lambda or Oxygen Sensor Bungs are pre-installed and threaded.
Made from T309 (1.4828) stainless steel.
IMPORTANT:
Test pipes may trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light).
To prevent a recurring CEL, you will need to tune the ECU or use O2 Sensor Extensions.
