This bracket kit has been developed by Capristo to address the issues associated with the rigid OEM bracket and mounting.

The OEM bracket does not permit sufficient movement for the expansion and vibration-induced motion of the entire exhaust system. This results in the exhaust experiencing stress loads during the constant expansion and contraction of everyday use.

Sound waves travelling through the exhaust at different RPM ranges also cause significant vibration. If the exhaust is secured too tightly, this movement is transferred to the weakest point, often the header pipes. The headers endure the most heat and stress forces and are likely to crack and fail under these conditions.

The bracket features a floating spring design that not only allows free movement during expansion but also compensates for the vibrations encountered during use. This design relieves the stresses that would otherwise damage your header pipes.
